Biography

According to the Puffer Family website, Leigh Stacey married in 1926 Myrtle Irene Howe,[1] b. 28 Feb 1904, South Ashburnham, MA, d. 25 Aug 1994, Pinellas County, FL. Myrtle, was the daughter of Frederick Zeno Howe and Bertha Mabel Puffer,[2] who in turn was the daughter of Mary Augusta (Dalrymple) Puffer. And Mary, for her part, was the sister of Leigh's grandmother, Nellie (Dalrymple) Stacey. So Leigh and Myrtle were second cousins.

In 1932, Leigh and Mytle sailed into Philadelphia from Puerto Rico, where Leigh's brother, Clyde was living. They left there in 1939, when Irene returned to New York together with two children who were born in Puerto Rico, David (b. 2/20/35) and John (b. 1/6/39). But there were travels between those dates as well. See here and here.
