Biography

Julius Carl Howe^[1][2] was born 25 Jun 1844^[1] in Woldenberg, Neumark, Germany. In 1868 he married^{[3][4][1][5][6][7]} Wilhelmina Zuelke. To their union was born eight children:

He immigrated to the United States in 1888^[5][6] and settled in Minnesota, USA.

In about 1891 he moved to Concord Township, Dodge, Minnesota, USA. He was still living there in 1895,^[3] working as a farmer.^[3]

He was naturalized in 1897 in Dodge County, Minnesota, USA.^[8]

He was still farming in Concord Township in 1900,^[4] but he had moved to La Mars Township, Richland, North Dakota, USA, by 1910.^[5]

By 1920, he was living at 3827 Central Avenue in Columbia Heights, Anoka, Minnesota, USA.^[6]

He died 7 Jul 1924^[1][2] in Columbia Heights^[1][2] and was buried in Riverside Cemetery, Section A, in Dodge Center, Dodge, Minnesota, USA.^[1][7]

Research Notes

His wife and children immigrated to the Unites States near the end of 1887 without him. It is likely that he immigrated before then and sent for them from where he was. Need to find his immigration record.
