He was a lifelong resident of Loveland, farmed until 1955, then working in real estate.
He first married Bernice O. Moon, June 27, 1928, in Loveland. She died Nov. 29, 1978.
He then married Viola Smith Myers, Oct. 27 1979, in Loveland.
He was a member of Loveland Elks, the Larimer County Board of Adjustments, and attended the First Christian Church.
He is survived by his wife, Viola, a son, Kenneth and his wife, Elaine, Long- mont; a step-daughter, Linda Vetter and husband, Gordon, Grand Junction; and grandchildren, Diane Thrift and husband, Jim, Debra Dowdell, and Jim Howe and fiancee, Becky Campbell, all of Longmont; great-grandchildren, Denise Rademach- er, Rich Birchall, Kimberlee Rademacher and Jamie Amen, all of Longmont; Jason Rademacher and Nick Rademacher, both of Evans; a great-great granddaughter, Amanda Kay Birchall, Longmont; step-grandchildren, Carol Chavez, Glendale, AZ, and Steve Vetter, Pennsylvania. Services held at Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Harvey Ruegsegger of the First Christian Church officiating. Burial at Loveland Burial Park. Memorial contributions made to Hospice of Larimer County or Loveland Elks Charitable and Education Trust.
