Biography

Lucinda Elizabeth Howell was born on 7 December 1847 in Patrick County, Virginia. She was the daughter of Fountain Howell and Nancy (DeHart) Howell.

On 18 June 1868, Lucinda married John William Newman in Patrick County, Virginia.

Lucinda died in Vinton, Roanoke, Virginia, on 22 November 1924, just two weeks shy of her 77th birthday.
