George, the second son and youngest of three children of Evelyn Howell and Laetitia Campbell was born in November 1920 at Bagdad, Iraq.[1]
Military Career
George was a career army officer, a gunner, and served in North Africa during WWII. During the 1950s, he was an officer at Rhosneigr Gunnery Range in Anglesey.
Marriage and Children
George married Elizabeth Wynyard Brown on 3 July 1948 and Edinburgh, Scotland. [Needs source]. They had two children, a daughter and a son.
Death
George Russell Walter Howell died on 15 November 2005 in his 75th year at Woodbridge, England.[2]
