My own interest is that Sarah “Sally” (Howell) Tinsley is the sister of James Pinson Howell who was the father of Burrel "B. B." Howell who was the father of John Theodore Howell who was the father of Nancy Lee (Howell) Smith who was my mother. Susan Smith -- Susan Smith is Sarah's second great grand niece -- Sarah (Howell) Tinsley and Susan Smith are both descendants of James Howell and Martha Denny.
