Biography

James was born in 1816.

Second marriage was to Janet the older sister of his half-nephew Alexander Marion Howell's wife Margaret (Thompson) Howell. The weddings were held 11 days apart in Aug., 1873. Janet and James were wed first on the 5th, followed by the younger sister, Margaret, on Margaret's birthday the 16th of August.
