Biography
Wyman Howells was born September 18, 1895 in Flushing, Queens County, New York, the son of William Butler Howells and Sarah Victoria Wightman. On June 24, 1924, he married Elizabeth “Tibby” Lawrence (1900-1974), daughter of Rulif VanCleve Lawrence and Adaline Yard of Freehold, New Jersey; they had two sons. Wyman died October 11, 1959 and was buried at South Park Cemetery, Pearland, Brazoti County, Texas. When Tibby passed away in 1974, she was interred besides him.
