Charlotte (Howes) Robinson
Seems to be a question which Thomas Newcomb she married the son of William Newcomb and Bathsheba Bourne or the son of Robert Newcomb and Mary Young. It is understandable wanting to make the tie to William and Bathsheba since that takes one to Chipman then Howland. Sarah and Thomas possibly have a son name Joshua born in Dennis died in Maine (Joshua being her father's name) but his history makes him the grandson of Robert and Mary. Andrew Newcomb, 1618-1686, and his descendants, a revised edition page 201 I looked a little further and feel that the Andrew Newcomb Genealogy Book is incorrect.
