Rock Hill Herald, Dec 28, 1912, Funeral of T.S. Howie Held This Morning

"The funeral of T.S. Howie, whose death occurred at his home on Pine Street on Thursday night, was held from the late residence this morning at 11 o'clock, conducted by Rev. J. L. Phillips. The interment followed in Laurelwood cemetery.

Mr. Howie was 65 years of age, death being caused by heart trouble. He is survived by his wife and four children, three of whom, Mrs. C. L. McElhaney, Mrs. L. Stevens and Frank Howie, live in Rock Hill. Another son lives in another state." ^[13]
