Biography
Eliza Jane "Jennie" Howton was born 13 Mar 1849 in Alabama to Lewis Howton and Harriett Whiteside.[1][2][3]
She married David "Dave"[4][5] Franklin[6] Staggs on 21 Jan 1870 in Jefferson County, Alabama[7] and the couple had the following known children:
- John Thomas Staggs was born about 1874 and died 01 Oct 1951 in Bessemer, Jefferson County, Alabama.[4]
- William Staggs was born 10 Jul 1877 in Jefferson County, Alabama and died 24 May 1911 in Bessemer, Jefferson County, Alabama.[6]
- Lonnie P. Staggs was born about 1892 and died 12 Mar 1963 in Bessemer, Jefferson County, Alabama.[5]
Jennie died 19 Mar 1926 in Bessemer, Jefferson County, Alabama and was buried in Oak Grove First Baptist Church Cemetery, Jefferson County, Alabama.[1]
