Biography

Abraham Howton, son of Jonathan Howton and Ann (Trover) Howton, was born about 1794 in Rockingham, Virginia. [1]

He married Darcas Castleberry on 19 March 1812 in Caldwell County, Kentucky. [2] [3]

He died about 12 August 1840 in Fayette County, Alabama. It's believed he was was buried at Mount Pleasant Cemetery [1] however, the memorial doesn't have specific source for this death and burial, so it's considered heresay.

He married a girl named Dorcas and his brother married a Franklin girl named Dorcas and his daughter married a Franklin man. Neighbors came in handy back in the day.
