Tabitha was a Friend (Quaker)

Tabitha was born on 20d 7m 1745 [20 Sep 1745].^[1] She was the daughter of Zebulon Hoxsie and Sarah (Irish) Hoxsie.^[1]

On 19d 6m 1760 [19 Jun 1760], Tabitha's father Zebulon was received on certificate at the Oblong monthly meeting from the Richmond monthly meeting.^[2] The family was noted as living in Oswego in 1760.^[3]

She was received on certificate at the Easton monthly meeting from the Oswego (Poughkeepsie) monthly meeting on 23d 8m 1804 [23 Aug 1804].^[4]

She was granted a certificate to the Galway monthly meeting on 19d 2m 1807 [19 Feb 1807].^[5] She returned from there to the Easton monthly meeting a year later.^[6]
