Biography

John was born in 1816. He was the son of Peter Hoy and Susannah Lebo. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5]

About 1837 John married Anna Maria (Mary) Weaver. [1][2] The couple had eleven children,[1]

John passed away in 1894. [6] [7] At the time of his death, John owned a 50 acre homestead in Upper Paxton Townships as well as other tracts. [8]
