Removed mother and father as mother was pregnant for half of 1810 and gave birth to Margaret Harriet Hoyle in June, therefore would not have been possible to have a son during the same year, and she was pregnant with Mary Augustina Hoyle for most of 1811 (starting more than likely around or before May) to give birth in Feb 1812, which means between end of June 1810 (so say July for a grace period) and before May 1811 Katherine would have had to have gotten pregnant and birthed a son, which is possible but less likely considering childbirth itself was a strenuous process and she would need some significant recovery time in between each. He is also not listed on grave records, unfortunately. See findagrave.com Memorial ID: 14392825
On the off chance that he was missed on grave records, finding additional sourced records for him might help clarify the potential mix-up.
The July 1862 death date is the same as Eli Wilson Hoyle's (1832-1862) and is probably an error. See Find A Grave, memorial page for Maj Eli Wilson Hoyle (1832–2 Jul 1862), Memorial ID 98489999, citing Oakwood Cemetery, Richmond, Richmond City, Virginia, USA; Maintained by Dig Up (contributor 47525629).
