Biography

Charles Edward Hoyle was born in Pendleton, Lancashire, in 1866, son of Isaac Hoyle, Gent.[1][2][3]

On the 28th July 1896, he married Anna Camilla Brandreth at Frensham in Surrey.[3]

Charles Edward Hoyle married, secondly, Avis Lucy Elwes, daughter of Chancellor Elwes, Rector of Woolbeding, Sussex. The marriage was solemnized at Woolbeding on the 27th April 1915.[5][6]

The Rev. Charles Edward Hoyle died at Newbury, Berkshire, on the 27th October 1949, aged eighty-three years.[7]
