Charles Edward Hoyle married, secondly, Avis Lucy Elwes, daughter of Chancellor Elwes, Rector of Woolbeding, Sussex. The marriage was solemnized at Woolbeding on the 27th April 1915.[5][6]
The Rev. Charles Edward Hoyle died at Newbury, Berkshire, on the 27th October 1949, aged eighty-three years.[7]
