John b. Dec 3,1716; m. Sarah Pickett; lived in Norwalk ; d. May 7, 1790. Wid. Sarah, b. Sep. 12, 1727, d. April I8, 1793. Hiss father gave him land in N. in 1748 and '56. Other deeds of his are rec. at N., 1747, '65, '73, etc. Henry Chichester ap. adm. est., May 13, 1790; Inventory completed 10 July 1790;^[1] estate divided, 1791.^[2][3][4] Children :

• Esther b. Oct. 8, 1749 ; m. Enoch Benedict, and was living in 1793, in Otsego Co., N. Y.
• John b. June 6, 1751 ; d. March 19, 1753.
• Walter b. Feb. 7, 1753; m. Grace Hayt, Aug. 16, 1786 ; lived in Norwalk; d. Nov. 25, 1828. Wid. Grace d. Nov. 16, 1847. He served 13 mos. in the revolution, under Gen. Putnam. He was also a wagoner, running from Boston to Danbury and Peekskill, 41 years.
• John b. May 8, 1755; m. Ruth Gregory, June 5, 1783 ; was a farmer and weaver ; lived in Norwalk ; d. Feb. 9, 1839. Wife Ruth, b. Feb. 3, 1764 ; d. Nov. 23, 1851.
• Jonathan b. March 2, 1758 ; d. June 18, 1759.
• Deborah b. Julv 19, 1760 ; d. Jan. 20, 1762.
• Deborah b. Oct. 8, 1763; m. Capt. Henry Chichester, June 1, 1784, and was living in 1791. Lived and d. at ' the " Old Well," Norwalk.
• Jonathan, b. Aug. 14, 1765; m. Sarah Middlebrook, of Wilton, April 14, 1793 . A farmer; lived in Norwalk, Ct., and Bridgeville, Sul. Co., N. Y. ; d. Aug. 10, 1833. Wife Sarah d. March 22, 1821, aged 49.
• Natiianiel, b. Feb. 1, 1769 ; d. Dec. '20, 1792, "on board the schooner Lucretin, in Lat. 24 North, Long. 65° West, and was buried the 21 day, according to the custom of the sea."
• Sarah, b. Nov. 24, 1772 ; m. John Raymond, and was living in 1793.
