Victor Chester Hoyt was born on August 26, 1898, son of Oliver and Laura (Julius) Hoyt.

He married Selma Andressen at Manhattan, New York on March 27, 1929. Selma was born in Norway about 1909, daughter of Martin and Maria (Jansen) Andressen.

Victor died at Westchester, New York in July, 1974.
