Sarah Hoyt, daughter of Abraham and Mary (Smith) Hoyt, was born at South Salem, later called Lewsboro, New York on 31 Aug. 1806.[1]
She married Isaac Davis, son of John and Hannah (Jelliff) Davis, on 4 Jan. 1824 at South Salem, New York.[1]
They settled at Ridgefeld, Connecticut (the line between that town and Wilton, passing through the house), where she died 10 Nov. 1860. Sarah was buried at Davis Cemetery, Ridgefield, Fairfield County, Connecticut.[1] Her memorial has links to those of family members.[2]
