Genealogy Interests

Direct descendant of Dolar Davis, MA; Nathaniel Mowry, RI; Gregory Dexter, RI: John Hoyt, MA/NH; Samuel Gorton, RI and several other early New England settlers. And then some Irish Potato farmers as well!

My primary focus is early New England ancestors and their descendants. I live in central MA and am quite near several related historical areas such as Brookfield, where Simon Davis took charge after Capt. Thomas Wheeler was wounded in King Philips War; along the corridor for Shay's Rebellion etc. While my Davis' ancestors fought the Indian's, some of my Mowery ancestors aided or warned the Indians during this same time frame from Mowery's Tavern, Mt. Hope, Providence.

I occasionally answer questions on G2G, either because I've hit my own brick wall and need a break, and or because I like to help newbies find some tidbit that will send them on their way to fascinating heritages.

Welcome to the Connectors Project! Be sure to check out the Connectors project page to see some of what we do, our To-Do lists which have folks who need connected to our Global Tree, and please add the connectors tag to your G2G feed. We've also got a great sub-project, Connectors Chat, where we talk about what we're working on and where we'd like to help out. If you're new to making connections and want some simplified connections to work on, look at our Connecting Buddies page. Thanks for joining us!

Do you have any info about a Hannah Buridge and aaron brooks marriage 29 Mar 1783 both of Lunenburg, Worcester, ma....from Massachusetts, town clerk, vital and town records 1626-2001. Familysearch.org I think the spelling is wrong for Hannah's last name. Is that possibly Aaron Brooks 1765 some are trying to pin it to Aaron 1727. Thanks Barry Brooks
