Ira Hoyt was born on on 23 Mar 1816 in Vermont, USA He is the son of Seymour Hoyt and Anna Pettibone. Ira died aged 7.

There is some confusion with Ira. He died aged 7, his parents named their next son Ira, too, and he's the one who married Hannah Grave Fairbanks. The Pedigree Resource file says Ira was baptized in Paola, Kansas.
