George was a Captain in the American Revolution. Revolutionary War service as a commissioned as Captain (3rd) co., raised for Hartford Co., (CT) New England militia regt., Col Comfort Sage. Marched variously on 1775-6 Alarms from Hartford County, CT to Boston, Massachusetts; Provided supplies to the (CT) New England militia & to the American Army. [1][2][3]

George Hubbard was born on 6 Feb 1731 in Middletown, Middlesex, Connecticut. His parents were George Hubbard (1704 - 1789) and Mary (Roberts) Hubbard (1704 - 1789). [4]
