Death and Burial: William passed away in 1881 and is buried at the Nichols Cemetery, Sulphur Springs Road, Metcalfe Co., Kentucky.[2]
William C. Hubbard was born in Bedford County, Va., came to Kentucky about 1830 with his parents and settled in Green County. His father was Joseph Hubbard, who was born and reared in Virginia; married Julia Lephridge, of that State, and was a soldier in the war of 1812.
