William Newton Hubbell was born on August 6, 1849, in Byron, Wisconsin to William Hubble and Marion Clark.
In 1850, William Hubbell at one year old was living in Byron, Fond du Lac, Wisconsin[1]
His father died when william was only 5 years old on July 11, 1855, in Oakfield, Wisconsin, at the age of 37.
In the 1860 census he was not living with his mother, her husband and his two half sisters in Jacksonville, Chickasaw, Iowa.
Marriage and Family
Ida Melvina Gilbert
On 18 Oct 1875 he was married to Ida Melvina Gilbert in New Ulm, Brown, Minnesota[2][3]
He had three sons and two daughters with Ida Melvina Gilbert.
Olive Leonora Hubbell born 24 Nov 1876 in Brown, Minnesota[4]
William Henry Hubbell born 20 Feb 1878 in Brown, Minnesota[5]
Loui H Hubbell born 6 Feb 1880 in Albin Township, Brown, Minnesota[6]
In 1880, he was working as a farmer on land located in Albin, Brown, Minnesota with his wife and there two sons William H age 2 and Louis H age 4 months.[7]
Lilly Bell Sigler
He then married Lilly Bell Sigler in june 1889 and in december of that year there son william was born.
In 1900, he was working as a Stageman in a home he owned located on Park Ave in Lyons, Boulder, Colorado with his wife, two sons William H age 22 and William N age 1 and his step son Arthur M Stiles age 16.[8]
Death
He died on February 9, 1908, in Pasadena, California, at the age of 58, and was buried in San Diego, California.
