Mr. Huber was an employe ofWicks Organ Co., in Highland for 50 years before his retirement. He was born on Nov. 2, 1891 in Highland, a son of the late Adam andMargaret Kop Huber. He was married to Ella Trautner on May 23, 1922 in Highland. Shepreceded him in death on August 25, 1964. Survivors include daughters, Mrs. Me. (Mary) Royer of Greenvilleand mrs. Douglas (Alice) Abendroth of Highland; step-daughter Mrs.Bernice Frederick of St. Louis, Mo., sisters, Mrs. Marie Elder of St.Louis and Mrs. Isabella Bischof of Odessa, Fla., six grandchildren andeight great grrandchildren. Mr. Huber ws a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church, the Holy NameSociety and the American Legion. He was a veteran of World War I,serving in the 309th Engineers of the Army in France. He was preceded in death by four brothers and six sisters. Funeral services were held Monday, June 3, in St. Paul's CatholicChurch,Msgr. Lawrence Wiskirchen officiating. Burial was in St.Joseph's Cemetery in Highland. The Harris Funeral Home of Highland made the arrangements.
