Biography

Descendant of a Volga German

Fritz "Fred" Huber was born 9 Jul 1915 in Fort Collins, Colorado to Heinrich "Henry" Huber and Alice B. Rosenuer Huber Stenzel.

He served five years in the Coast Guard artillery in WWII, four years at San Diego and one year overseas. He was part owner of Howard McLean Potato Company and Shaver Seed Farm until retirement in 1973.

Fred married Mary Schuldies on 19 Nov 1945 in Garden City, Kansas. They had three children.

Fred passed away 1 Mar 2003 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska.
