According to the Center for Volga German Studies at Concordia University, Huck was founded by Germans from Isenburg and the Palatinate.
[1]
The year of his birth in the family records does not match the year of his birth in the Huck Family Tree. I removed the date of birth taken from the family tree referenced below and left the estimated date based on the 1798 Huck census. Based on the records I've reviewed thus far, the name of his father can't be confirmed yet I will leave Andreas Huck attached for now, but am holding off on naming his mother or other relatives until I can identify his birth record.

DISCUSSION & DOCUMENTATION
Johannes Huck, son of Andreas Huck & Albertina Margaretha Brodbecker, was born 11 April 1734 in Wächtersbach, Isenburg, Hessen. He married Augusta Maria Zepper, daughter of Georg Wilhelm Zepper & Charlotte Messer. She was born 25 April 1728 in Büdingen, Isenburg, Hessen. They have three known children, all born in Wächtersbach: Jakob Wilhelm (b. 20 November 1753); Georg Philipp (b. 10 March 1757); and Katharina Elisabeth (b. 19 May 1761).
The Huck family arrived in Huck on 1 July 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 Census in Household No. 1. Johannes Huck was the first vorsteher (mayor) of Huck, and it is after his family that the colony is named.

Johannes Huck of Lahr, Baden, Germany was born 7-8 years earlier than 1734. I think information about the different Johannes Hucks is being co-mingled.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Johannes by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Johannes:
