Polly Bland aged 40, born about 1810 in Kentucky according to the 1850 District 52, Macon County, Missouri, USA Census. Head of household was husband Samuel Bland.

Mary Blann, aged 40, born about 1820 in Kentucky according to the 1860 Elm Twp, Putnam County, Missouri, USA Census. Samuel Blann, her husband is listed aged 54 born in Kentucky.

According to the two known census records, Mary Polly Huckaby Blann aka Bland was born either in 1810 or 1820 in Kentucky, married 1842 in Macon County, Missouri.

Last place of residence was Putnam County, Missouri.

Mary "Polly" Huckaby was the eighth child of William Isiah Huckaby and Rebecca Bridges and a granddaughter of Thomas Huckaby I Kesiah Nuckolls. My records show that she was born 21 April 1842, in Macon Co., MO and died about 1860/63. My records also show that she married Samuel Bland, on 21 April 1842, in Macon Co. There is obviously a problem with the birth date and marriage date. I do not at this time know which is wrong.

I do have a listing of her siblings. Her parents had to have moved from KY to MO between 1813, when their youngest was born in Barren Co., KY and 1830, when another wa born. If she was married in 1842, (presuming my listed birth date is incorrect) she would like likely have been born about 1820+/-. This would be consistant with a birth place of KY. ^[4]

Records indicate that William Huckaby s/o Thomas and Kesiah (Nuckols) Huckaby removed from Barren Co., KY to northern MO. William (s/o Thomas) married Rebecca Bridges (that could be your connection) and is said to have had 2 male and 7 female children. The William listed in Macon Co., MO had two female children between the ages of 15 and 20 in the 1840 Census.
