Biography

Stephen Huckstep was born in Kent, England.

Stephen was born on 29 December 1806 and was christened, along with his twin sister Mary, on 08 March 1807 in Ickham, Kent, England. He was the son of William Huckstep and Anne Blackman. ^[1]

According to the 1881 census of England and Wales, Stephen was an inmate of an unspecified institution in Minster, Thanet, Kent (probably the workhouse); his age was given as 76, his occupation as agricultural labourer. ^[2]

Stephen died in 1883 and was buried on 09 June 1883 in Minster, Thanet. ^[3]
