He married first to Harriet Huddleston, who was his cousin’s daughter.[2]
He and Harriet had 2 children:
1. Henry, b abt 1837, m Narcissa Allcorn, d in Civil War
2. Martha, b abt 1838

Harriet died about 1838, Oregon County, MO -- She was not mentioned in her father's estate settlement of 1839, but her children were, so she must have died between the birth of Martha (abt 1838) and the death of her father (Apr, 1839).

When Harriett died, Jesse took his two children and went to live with his parents.
Harriett's children were raised by their Huddleston grandparents where they were in 1840 & 1850.

There is a probate record for him at the Oregon Co, MO courthouse:

In 1860 Rachel's children (Mary & Emila) were living with others--Emila was living with her Bellah grandparents in 1860 & 1880.

Huddleston-2911 and Huddleston-1334 appear to represent the same person because: same birth & death date, same wife, and same parents, same siblings.

I could not find a Camilla Bellah during this time period or location. I believe he married Rachel Bellah and then Milla (Emilia) Bellah. He married Milla in 1845, in 1850 the census has two children that were born before that. The two oldest were probably Rachel's. The only Camilla Bellah that I could find was in Italy, England and Brazil. This was the only J Huddleston and family I could locate in Oregan County, Missouri around that time.
