Effie Faye Huddleston Dillard Obituary

Effie Faye Huddleston Dillard, 71, of Pond Gap, W.Va., formerly of Craigsville, W.Va., died Friday, Feb. 18, 2005, at home after a long illness.

She was a homemaker, and a member of the Riverside First Church of God.

Faye was preceded in death by her daughter, Kathy Dillard; parents, Lawrence and Gertrude Huddleston; brothers, Robert, Archie, Clyde, and Virgil Huddleston; and sisters, Virgie Kiser and Dolly Belcher.

Surviving is her husband of 54 years, Bert Dillard; children, Nancy Sanguancheep and husband, Tuy, of Caldwell, W.Va., Larry Dillard and wife, Shirley, of Elkview, David Dillard and wife, Jenny, of Lewisburg, W.Va., Tammy Morrison and husband, Jeff, of Winfield, W.Va., and Kevin Dillard and wife, Angie, of Craigsville, W.Va.; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Virginia Hayes of Rand, and Mae Barnett of Shrewsbury; and one brother, Lester Huddleston of Craigsville, W.Va.

The family wishes to thank HospiceCare of Dunbar, especially Pat Elswick, Sandy Weiland, and Debbie Waggner.

The family suggests memorial contributions to your local hospice.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Feb. 22, 2005, at Cooke Funeral Home in Cedar Grove with the Rev. Billy Morris officiating. Burial will follow at Montgomery Memorial Park, London.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 21, at the funeral home.

Effie Faye Huddleston Dillard has a twin sister, Elsie Mae.
