Obituary from LEAD BELT NEWS, Flat River, St. Francois Co. MO, Wed. June 30, 1965:
"Mrs. Cloah Johnson of Leadwood died June 28, 1965, at the Thomas Dell Memorial Home in Farmington at the age of 79 years, 8 months and 23 days. A daughter of the late Pinkney and Martha Ellen (Burton) Huddleston, she was born Oct. 5, 1855 [prob should be 1875], at Summit, Mo.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Morgan Johnson, who died thirty years ago. Two of their children died in infancy and a son, Floyd, passed away in 1949. Survivors are a son and daughter, Miss Maude Johnson and Harold Johnson, both of Leadwood; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The body is in state at the Boyer Funeral Home in Leadwood. Funeral services on Thursday, July 1, at 2 p.m. will be at the Leadwood Methodist Church with the Rev. Fred Mammon officiating. Interment will be in the Hopewell Cemetery under the direction of Bert L. Boyer, Leadwood."
