Biography
Tilitha A. Hudson and William B. Holland were married August 8, 1844, in Marengo, Alabama, by L. L. Hosey, J. P.[1] In 1850 they lived in Marengo County, Alabama, on a farm valued at $500. Reuben S. Hudson, age 21, lived with them.[2] In 1860 they were farming in Township 13 Range 3 E, Marengo County. Their real estate was valued at $2000 and personal estate at $900.[3] (Her father's 1860-1861 estate documents[4] cite her by her married name, along with her husband by his first and last name.) In 1870 they lived in Grove Hill, Clarke County, Alabama, with real estate at $600 and personal estate at $300.[5] In 1880 they lived in Tallahatta Springs, Clarke County, Alabama.[6]
She was buried at Elam Baptist Church Cemetery, Clarke County, Alabama.[7]
