Biography
Robert was born 3 July 1925. Robert Huey was born Robert Harrell Jett and was adopted by: Paul Caton Sr and his first wife Iona Smith They divorced; Paul Caton Sr remarried Eva Delores McCoy in 1929. They placed Robert up for adoption in 1929.
Ray Kail & Ruth Murphy had Robert for a year and petitioned the court to adopt 1930, asked to change his name to Robert Eugene...but it may not have been finalized due to both of them going to prison
Samuel O & Maude (Herrell) Huey petitioned the court to adopt Robert and finalized Sept 1931 and raised him to adulthood.
I found adoption information on Newspapers.com, NewspaperArchives.com and Robert's birth certificate on Ancestry.com
He passed away in 2008. [1]
