Biography

William A. HUFF (1805 NJ - after 1851) was a schoolteacher in 1850 in Alexandria twp of Hunterdon Co, NJ, who had md Elizabeth ??? (1811 NJ - ), and they had at least two ch:

1. Sarah C. (1832 NJ -
2. Moses (1834 NJ - ) was a merchant in Mt Pleasant in 1860 boarding with Ann SMITH.

William A. HUFF was designated to receive the farm of his father Anthony HOFF, Jr, in his father's 1851 will. Whether he lived on the farm later is not known. He has not yet been identified for 1860.

One William A. HUFF on 2 June 1860 md Mary PRALL in Hunterdon Co. (Book 3:335, Voorhees). If the same person, this would be a second marriage.
