Obituary
On last Wednesday evening about 5 o’clock occurred the death of the Hon. Richard HUFFMAN, at his home about two and one half miles south of town. His decease was some trouble of the liver. The deceased was an old and influential citizen of Greene County, a prominent Republican, and a member of the FMBA and Masonic fraternities. He represented this county in the last legislature and had he lived would no doubt have received the nomination of his party next year. He leaves a wife and a large family, all of whom are grown, to mourn his unexpected taking away. His remains were buried on Thursday by the Masonic lodge of this place in the Quillen Graveyard in Taylor Township.[2]
