↑ Obituary for Jamie Groves-Cox
Age 47, died on February 12, 2013 at Flower Hospital after a long illness. She was born February 6, 1966 at the Naval Base in Kodiak Island, Alaska to Herman and Elaine Huffman. Jamie was a 1984 O'Fallon Township High School graduate. On July 28, 2006 she married her loving husband, Robbie Dean Cox.
Jamie attended college for two years in Illinois where she owned and operated a small manicurist shop as a professional nail technician. Jamie was an avid reader of books and loved to cook. She enjoyed fishing with her husband up north. She was an animal lover at heart and had three lovable cats and a dog. Jamie is survived by her husband Robbie Cox of Belleville, Michigan, two daughters Taylor Buecher of St. Louis, Missouri and Baylee Groves of Dupo, Illinois, her parents Herman and Elaine Huffman of O'Fallon, Illinois, one brother Travis (Patty) Huffman of New Athens, Illinois, one sister Edie (Nicholas) Carter Watertown, New York and two brothers-in-law Roger (Wanda) Cox of Willis, Michigan and Terry (Marlene) Cox of Pinckney, Michigan, one nephew Zachary Carter, and many loving aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
At Jamie's request, her body was cremated and her ashes sprinkled upon the beaches of Corpus Christi, Texas.
