Biography

Cyrus was born on 27 June 1834 in Pendleton, West Virginia, United States. He was the son of Daniel Huffman and Sarah (Pryne) Huffman.[1]

In the 1850 census Cyrus (age 15) was living in North Fork Hills, Pendleton, Virginia, USA.[1]

When Cyrus was 26 he married on 11 April 1861 in De Witt, Illinois, USA.[2] [3] [4]

On 1 July 1863 Cyrus (age 29) was living in Tunbridge, Illinois, United States. Marital Status: Married.[5]

In the 1870 census Cyrus (age 35) was living in Scott, Linn, Kansas, USA. Residence Post Office: Jackson.[6]

In the 1880 census Cyrus (age 46) was living in Centerville, Linn, Kansas, USA. Marital Status: Married. Relation to Head: Self.[7]

On 1 March 1885 Cyrus (age 50) was living in Paris, Linn, Kansas, USA. Marital Status: Married.[8]

In the 1900 census Cyrus (age 65) was living in Paris, Linn, Kansas, USA. Marital Status: Married. Relation to Head: Head.[9]

In the 1910 census Cyrus (age 75) was living in Paris, Linn, Kansas, USA. Marital Status: Married. Relation to Head of House: Head.[10]


On 22 October 1911 Cyrus (age 77) was living in Linn county.[11]

Cyrus died at the age of 77 on 22 October 1911 in Coldwater, Comanche, Kansas, United States. Y.[12] [11]
