Hannah (Huggenson) Earl was born in Cowan Bridge, Lancashire, England.

Hannah Huggonson was born on 17 December 1789 in Cowan Bridge, Lancashire, England, the daughter of William and Ann Huggonson. ^[1]

She baptised on 17 January 1790 in Tunstall, Lancashire.^[1]

She married John Earl, a labourer, on 24 December 1810 in Blackburn, Lancashire.^[2]

In 1841 she was in Cowan Bridge with her husband and 2 children. Her husband was a mole catcher. ^[3]

In 1851 she was with her husband and son in Leck, Lancashire. ^[4]

Her husband died in 1856.

In 1861, aged 71, she was living alone in Cowan Bridge. ^[5]

In 1871 she was visiting her daughter, Hannah Bradshaw in Birkenhead, Cheshire.^[6]

She died in Birkenhead. She was buried on 20 June 1876 in Leck. ^[7]

Research Notes

Marriage Banns and Marriage record have different spelling of Huggenson on FamilySearch. March 22, 2020

Both Hannah and John signed their own names in the marriage register. She signed her name as Hannah Huggonsons. ^[2]
