Sergeant Joseph Huggins served with Berkshire County Militia, Massachusetts Militia during the American Revolution.

Joseph was the son of Joseph & Sarah (Fox) Huggins.

Joseph Huggins served as a Sergeant in the Massachusetts Militia. [1]

The DAR lists spouses: 1) Rebekah Burrell; 2) Hannah Turner; 3) Jerusha, the widow of Amos Austin

He married Rebekah Burrell (1769-1800) 6 Dec 1787 Sheffield, Berkshire, Mass. She was a daughter of Abraham Burrell and Mary Austin.

He married c 1778 to Jerusha Callender, daughter of Nathaniel & Diadamia (Dewey) Calldender and widow of Amos Austin - Jerusha and Joseph were the parents of Zebediah born 14 Oct 1779 .

After the death of Jerusha he married Altha Burrell and had daughter Altha.
