James Edward Huggins was born 5/26/1880 in Alabama, USA

He married Lou Rillie Nall Children: Essie Mae, Fletcher, Berta, Lizzie, Bascom, Gladys, William, James, Sarah, Cauley, Helen, Doris, and Dewey,

In 1918, he was a farmer living in Dothan, Alabama. He was described as being of medium height & build, with light hair and blue eyes (per draft card)

1920 lived in Houston County, Alabama with wife and children, 1921 lived in Florida (based on Cauley's birthpllace)

He died 12/22/1967 in Lakeland, Polk County, Florida

My Mother-In -Law was Helen Joyce Huggins - You have her father and Mother listed so I figure you are related - My husband is a son of Helen who married a Samuel A. McSwain - Helen had 5 children, 4 girls and 1 boy - Helen is Buried in Lake Buffum Cemetery in Fort Meade, Polk Co., Florida- I have obits for most all her siblings plus 1 daughter who has passed- Also photo of Bascom- and I think a few other of her siblings- James Edward Huggins was son of - Andrew Jackson & Melissa Anzilla Alexander/ Huggins . Bascom & wife Lillian Dossey Huggins are buried in Fitzgerald Cemetery in Lakeland , Polk Co., Fl.- My name is Peggy McSwain
