Biography
Roland was an attorney in Kansas City. He married Maude Steele, a daughter of Count Sobieski Steele and Chloe (Collins) Steele, at Uniontown, Kansas, in 1880. Their children included Mary Llewellyn Hughes and a son who died in infancy.
