Note N4Letter from Fern (Carberry) Beagle: When Pat was little, she was called Patsy. Apparently someone told her she was called Patsy Hughes, but her name was really Patricia. When attending her Uncle Charles and Isabelle's wedding reception in KY, someone there asked Pat her name. She promptly replied "Patsy Hughes (pause) Patricia". 1

Pat taught her sister Carol how to play the first page of "Claire de Lune" on the piano when Carol was 5. After Pat married Geno, she had a tradition of going to the pool at Coney Island every Saturday with Carol. 1 was an active member of the Turpin Hills tennis & pool club. She also loved playing golf. 1 and Gene had a tradition of going to Florida every winter, to Siesta Key in Sarasota. 1 was an excellent cook. I [Brad Hurley] remember two of her specialties: spaghetti and meatballs, and barbecue beef sandwiches.
