Biography

Remembering Baby Eleanor

Eleanor was born November 16, 1879 in Ramsey, Isle of Man^[1] and baptised January 2, 1880 at the chapelry of St Olave in Lezayre, Isle of Man. She is the daughter of Bisset Hughes and Elizabeth Starkey and at the time of her baptism, they were living at "15 Bowring Road" and her father's occupation was "mariner".^[2][3]

Sadly, little Eleanor died at almost 1 year of age on November 25, 1880 in Ramsey, Isle of Man.^[4]
