Goodman, child of Edward Hughes & Anne Price, was born on 27 October 1789 and baptised on 1 November 1789 in Trelawnyd, Flintshire, Wales.^[1]

Goodman Hughes was mentioned in the will of his half-brother Samuel Hughes (1776-1831) whose estate passed probate in 1831 in St Asaph, Wales.^[2]

Goodman Hughes, warehouseman, married Sarah Owens on 20 February 1814 in Liverpool, St Peter, Lancashire, England.^[3]

In the 1841 census Goodman Hughes (age 50), master porter, was in Eldon Place, Liverpool, Lancashire, England.^[4]
