Biography

Mary C Betterton was enumerated as wife of the head of household in Sulphur Township (south part), Miller County, Arkansas for the June 15, United States Census, 1900. She was noted as born November 1877 in Arkansas and had been married seven years. She was the mother of three children of which all were still living as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are head Luther J Betterton, daughter Ouesie B Betterton, son Owen C Betterton and son Odus F Betterton.^[1]

Mary Betterton was enumerated as wife of the head of household at Sulphur, Miller County, Arkansas for the April 29, United States Census, 1910. She was noted as born 1873 in Arkansas and had been married sixteen years. She was the mother of six children of which all were still living as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are head J L Betterton, daughter Ona Betterton, daughter (son) Olian Betterton, daughter (son) Ottus Betterton, daughter Ola Betterton, daughter Ora Betterton and son Other Betterton.^[2]

She was noted as born 1875 in Arkansas and married as seen in the image of the original census.
