Biography

Sarah Emily Hughes was born May 29,1861 in Montgomery County, Georgia.

She married Dennis Mosley November 11, 1883 in Montgomery County, Georgia, son of John Mosley and Edith Thompson.

In 1900[1], 1910[2], and 1920[3], she and Dennis lived in Vidalia, Toombs County, Georgia with their children Hilton, Rose Annie, John Elliott, Sherman, Julius Duncan, Emmett, Gladys, and Katie. After Dennis died, she appeared on the 1930 census as head with her children Rose Annie, Elliott, Emmett, and Katie still at home[4].
