Biography
Carlene Hughey Terrell of Liberty, MS, 78, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at Liberty Community Living Center. Carlene was born August 27, 1938 in Amite County, MS. She was the daughter of Carl and Doris Nunnery Hughey. She graduated Liberty High School in 1956 and that same year married Robbie Maurice Terrell, also of Liberty. She was a homemaker.
Carlene is survived by her sons, Alan (Delane) Terrell of Crosby, Ms. and Andy (Chris) Terrell of Sumitt. 3 Granddaughters, Ellen(Jesse) Golden of Hoover, Al, Katie(Robert) Thomas of Philadelphia, MS and Kelli-Anne Terrell of Ridgeland, MS. One Great-Grandson, Thomas Alan Golden of Hoover, Al. Sister, Jo Ann (Ronald) Price of Waggaman, La; Brother, James Hughey of Liberty, Nephew, Dale Price. 2 Brother-In-Laws, Hoyt (Sharon) Terrell and Carl (Sandra) Terrell all of Liberty.
She is Preceded In Death by her parents and her husband, Robbie Maurice Terrell.
Visiting at Brown Funeral Home in Liberty, Ms. Friday, December 16, 2016, 9:00 AM until time of Funeral Services Friday at 11:00 AM, also at Brown Funeral Home in Liberty. Services Officiated by Rev Shane Pourciau. Interment to follow in Terrell Cemetery near Liberty.
Pallbearers are Carl Terrell, Will Terrell, Dale Causey, Danny Edwards, Lane Boler, Don Tumey, Robert Thomas and Jesse Golden.
The family would like to thank the staff at Liberty Community Living Center and Camilla Hospice for their care.
The family request that memorials be made to Liberty United Methodist Church.
