Biography
Amelia (Hulin) Taylor was born in Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, England.
Amelia was baptised on 30 July 1815 in Coleford by parents Orpheus and Sarah. Orpheus was a Tailor. [1]
In 1841 Amelia and Nerah Hulin were Female Servants in the household of William Peel in St Briavels. [2]
On 10 June 1843 Amelia married William Taylor in St Briavels. William was a Blacksmith as was his father William. Amelia's father Orpheus was a Mason. [3]
In 1861 William and Amelia were living in St Briavels with 6 children. [4]
Research Note
Amelia was added as the daughter of George Hulin (1759-1819) and Elizabeth (George) Hulin (1760-1819) but her marriage certificate shows this couldn't be the case so they have been disconnected.
