OBITUARY EXTRACTION:
NAME & ADDRESS:
William J. Hull, age 73, of 1114 S. Lafayette Street, Shawano, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2001, at Veterans Administration Medical Center in Milwaukee.
BIRTH & PARENTS:
William was born Aug. 10, 1927, in Shawano, a son of the late William and Anna (Zoglman) Hull.
EARLY YEARS & MARRIAGE:
He attended the Shawano schools, graduating in 1945. Following school he entered the United States Navy. He served during World War II, and spent a total of 23 years in service. On Aug. 25,1956, he was united in marriage to Anna Marie Rodriguez in Newport, R. I.
INTERESTS - EMPLOYMENT:
The couple lived in Rhode Island, Charleston, S. C. and Scotland, before returning to Shawano in 1967. William was later employed at Dearco and the Shawano Evening Leader. His wife preceded him in death
on July 16,1998. He was a member of Shawano United Methodist Church. He was also a member of Shawano VFW Post #2723. He was an avid fisherman.
SURVIVORS:
Survivors include: two daughters, Cathy (Homer) Waters of Las Cruces, N.M.; Tina Rhinehardt (fiance, David Craven) of Shawano; three grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two sisters, Alice (Earl) Ezel of Spring City, Tenn., Celia Waters of Shawano; many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
FUNERAL SERVICES AND BURIAL:
Funeral services will be held on Monday, Aug. 6, at 11 a.m. at Schroeder-Mickelson Funeral Service of Shawano with Pastor Jeff Uhler officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Shawano with military rites conducted by VFW Post #2723. Friends may call at Schroeder-Mickelson Funeral Service on Monday from 10 a.m. until the hour of services.
